THE ROLE:

SPORTSKIND is looking for a skilled, passionate, and energetic Sports Media Content Creator/Brand Ambassador to join our team in Denver, Colorado!

This position will work alongside our event staff as visual historians, with a focus on growing our social media audience and increasing overall engagement – capturing memorable moments at our leagues, tournaments, and events.

We are a growing athletics company and a leader in the adult recreation space in Denver. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create content that engages or members, tells compelling stories, and enhances the brand.
• Do a bit of everything in digital media – writing, editing, video production, and social media.
• Turn photo and video clips into engaging social graphics and video content.
• Ability to keep up with social media trends and curate content that aligns with our brand.
• Assist with running of leagues and events if requested.
• Support the Media Operations Manager (direct report) and the COO in the execution of goals and initiatives that support the media team and SPORTSKIND.

REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

• 21+
• Interest in and passion for sports.
• Evening and weekend availability.
• Strong communication skills – must be personable yet comfortable having authority.
• Intuitively understands the type of content that succeeds and takes charge to create it.
• Experience in posting/trends on social media apps – such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc. .
• Experience in editing programs – such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (LightRoom / Premiere / Photoshop / Illustrator), etc. .
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and thrives in ambiguous environments.
• You’re organized. You know how to prioritize your time to manage multiple projects with ease.
